On Saturday, 28 September, several Chapter members cleaned up our adopted portion of the Fairfax County Parkway outside Ft. Belvoir. The weather was slightly humid on Saturday, 28 September, but our merry band of volunteers spread out and finished the highway cleanup that was started on 14 September. With the help of Ed Clayton, Richard Martin, Donnie Halsing, and Alana Kolcun, we picked up 14 bags of trash in a total of 14 hours of volunteered time.
This completes our third quarter cleanup. Next cleanup will be in November before the weather turns cold and the snow flies.
