Our Chapter hit the ground running this April! Partnering with Rebuilding Together DC – Alexandria, our volunteers spent two weekends clocking in four-hour shifts to provide critical home repairs for a local resident whose parents were World War 2 veterans and had a brother who served in the Vietnam War. It was an incredible opportunity to roll up our sleeves and put our skills to work for a meaningful cause. We are honored to help a member of our military community maintain a safe and comfortable home, and we look forward to more “boots on the ground” service projects like this one.
