Adopt-a-Highway Fall 2019

On Saturday, 28 September, several Chapter members cleaned up our adopted section of the Fairfax County Parkway outside Ft. Belvoir. The weather was slightly humid. Nevertheless, our merry band of volunteers spread out. They finished the highway cleanup that was started on 14 September.  Ed Clayton, Richard Martin, Donnie Halsing, and Alana Kolcun helped us. We picked up 14 bags of trash. This was accomplished in a total of 14 hours of volunteered time.

This completes our third quarter cleanup.  Next cleanup will be in November before the weather turns cold and the snow flies.
